<p>I&#8217;m convinced that the best way to bring quality back to the products we use is just to make them ourselves!  Manufacturers don&#8217;t seem to to care any more about the end consumer, and they even seem to go to great length to deceive us about ingredients, freshness, origins, etc.  So I&#8217;m setting out to learn to make everything I can from scratch and stop depending on big companies to decide my quality of life.</p>
<p>Starting out, here is something I found that is really easy:</p>
<p>Make body powder with cornstarch and potpourri in a blender!  <a title="HomeMade Body Powder" href="http://www.crafterslovecrafts.com/make-your-own-body-powder.html" target="_blank">Home Made Body Powder</a></p>
<p>I plan to get a used blender just for this purpose, and for making other non-food items.  Finding unique, decorative jars for the homemade powder will be fun, too.</p>
